We generally start flying children at age 5. There is no maximum age.
We are happy to accommodate observers. You can reserve observer seats in advance, along with your parasailing seats through our booking partner FareHarbor or give us a call at (410) 213-6122.
Yourself! Possibly a towel, and a long sleeve shirt if the weather looks chilly.
We offer double or triple rides, based on wind conditions and weight loads.
Weight limits can vary depending on conditions, but generally 450 lbs is the maximum allowed in the chute based on manufacturer recommendations.
Yes! We are a USCG inspected vessel with licensed Captain and crew. We take extra strides to train our crew to surpass industry standards. We have a 100% safety record.
From start to finish, depending on how many other groups there are on your trip, our boat rides typically are an hour to an hour and a half.
10-12 minutes, which is the longest flight time on the island.
Only if you want a dip at the end of your ride! You can choose to stay completely dry- just let the Captain know!
We recommend reservations at least a day or two in advance. We do accept walk-ups if we have space on the boat.
Bathing suits if you want to get wet. Shorts, t-shirts...anything comfortable! If it is chillier, you may want a long sleeve shirt or light jacket.
We require 24-HOUR notice in order to cancel or reschedule for any reason. You MUST contact ISLAND PARASAIL 24-HOURS prior to your scheduled check-in time to make any changes to your reservation. If you book a reservation within 24-Hours of its scheduled departure then you are locked in and responsible for those seats. There will be no option to cancel or reschedule unless you choose to add Trip Protection to your booking. This allows you to cancel or reschedule at any time for any reason up to 30 minutes prior to the trip start time for a full refund less the trip protection and booking fee.
We constantly check the weather and ensure that conditions are safe for our flyers. If your ride is canceled by Island Parasail due to weather conditions, guests may re-book. If rebooking is not an option, we will process a refund.
Nope! There is no swimming required to parasail. Flyers take off and land from the back of the boat, and will be wearing life jackets provided by Island Parasail for the duration of their flight.
We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled reservation.
We are on 22nd St and the bayside, right next to Fish Tales. We are in the northwest corner of the north parking lot in the blue and white booth with a sign that says Jet Ski Rentals on the top.
